Crossroads Atlanta

Date: 27th April 2022
Venue: Garden & Gun Club, The Battery

We hosted a group of supply chain leaders for an intimate evening of networking and learning at the Garden & Gun Club in The Battery. We kicked off the event with a few sessions around industry challenges and best practices over drinks and dinner. We then followed it up with a nail-bitingly close baseball game - Braves vs. Cubs - at Truist Park.

Here are some highlights from the event:

  • Alexandre Jacquillat (Assistant Professor, MIT Sloan School of Management) and Adrian Poretti (VP Global Supply Chain Capabilities, Kimberly Clark) led us in an exciting discussion around the power of network data and how organizations can potentially use this data to drive supply chain decision-making

  • Dilip Bhattacharjee (Partner, McKinsey) and Maite Pena-Alcaraz (Associate Partner, McKinsey) offered a couple of different perspectives on the fine game of balance played between shippers, carriers, and intermediaries, and why it’s key to maintain that balance

  • Tim Rummer (Senior Manager - Business Systems, Hach Chemicals) walked us through the perfect example of how a large enterprise organization can tackle challenges head-on to successfully build a frictionless supply chain.
